Once you have created a table and view and updated SR2tables.xml, you need to register the Asset Type with SR2.  To do so:

1. Login to SR2 as an Administrator
2. Select Workspaces > Asset types.
3. Enter a name and description.
   Note that the table name must be exactly the same as the table name created using the 'create table' SQL script.
4. Click on Save.

Updating Asset Type

If you make a change to the XML, you need to let SR2 know of the change.

To Notify SR2 of changes to an existing asset type:

1. Login to SR2 as an Administrator
2. Select Workspaces > Asset Types.
3. Click on the asset type in the left column, then click save

Note: When you re-save an asset type, only the selected asset type is reloaded. If you make modifications to other Asset Types, you will need to select those and re-save them.
