Download the latest SiteRefresh.zip file.
Quick Update Instructions:
Unzip the file, and put it in a temporary location.
Note: In the below instructions the <installation-dir> refers to the directory where Siterefresh installation files are available. For eg: it may look like one of the following paths...
C:\SR2 or C:\SR2\configuration or C:\SiteRefresh
<deployment-dir> refers to the jboss application server directory. For Eg: it may look like one of the following paths...
C:\SR2\appsrv or C:\SR2\appserv or C:\jboss\jboss-4.0.3SP1
Updating your installation
1. Goto <installation-dir>
2. Backup the JBoss directory to JBoss.bak
3. Move the Jboss directory from the temporary location to the <installation-dir>
4. Copy the <installation-dir>\Jboss\siterefresh-api.jar to <deployment-dir>\server\default\SiteRefresh\siterefresh-api.jar
5. Copy the <installation-dir>\Jboss\domain.jar to <deployment-dir>\server\default\SiteRefresh\master\domain.jar
6. Copy the<installation-dir>\Jboss\launchpad.war to <deployment-dir>\server\default\SiteRefresh\launchpad.war
WYSIWYG Configuration file
1. Copy the properties folder from {temp directory}\www\model\ to each of the content domains www directory. Some installations this is the directory path: <installation-dir>\www\<content_domain>.
Email Template
1. Copy the emailtemplate folder from {temp directory}\www\model\ to each of the content domains www directory. Some installations this is the directory path: <installation-dir>\www\<content_domain>.
Updating the Master Content Domain
From the command line:
Goto <installation-dir>\jboss
Type the following command in:
java -jar TailorJar.jar <deployment-dir>\server\default\SiteRefresh
After doing the above steps, you should restart JBoss.
Updating your Content Domains
1. Login to the Master Domain
2. Select a Content Domain that you want to update.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click 'Reinstall Exe'
4. Wait a couple of minutes
5. Click 'Create System Views'
6. Click 'rebuild Search Index'
Note: These are the instructions for this specific build. Instructions for future updates may require moving files and performing some changes to the database.
